Privacy policy

Last updated 2 November 2026

This policy explains what personal data Live Music Radar processes when you use livemusicradar.net and its country pages, and your rights. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Who is responsible

The controller of your data is Live Music Radar (livemusicradar.net). Privacy contact: privacy@livemusicradar.net.

Your location is only used if you press "Near me" and allow it in your browser. It picks your country on your device; your position, rounded to about 1 km, is then sent with the request that lists nearby shows, so it can appear in the technical request logs above. We do not store it otherwise or link it to you. We do not run personalised advertising today; if we do in the future, it will only happen with your consent through a consent banner, and this policy will be updated first.

Who receives data

Service providers acting for us: Google (hosting and, with your consent, Google Analytics). When you follow a ticket link, the ticket seller and its affiliate network become independent controllers of what happens on their sites. When you press play on a video, YouTube (Google) loads and may set cookies. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on the safeguards the provider offers, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Hosting logs: as set by the hosting provider. Analytics (in Google Analytics and in our own export): no longer than 14 months. Emails: as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted or archived for the legal period.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to, correction, deletion or portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time (see Cookie policy). Write to privacy@livemusicradar.net. You may also complain to the data protection authority of your country.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
